One of the most entertaining parts of being really busy while an awards show is on?
Knowing I’ll eventually watch the entire night (The red carpet, the pre-show, the angst over who won and who lost and who made a fool of themselves during their acceptance speech, the interviews, the after-parties, etc) happen in reverse when I catch up on tumblr

Update on Mulan:
I finished watching, and I somehow knew right away that the “True to Your Heart” song was 98 degrees, even though I barely listened to them when they were actually popular.
And then Christina Aguilara’s version of “My Reflection” came on, and I started jamming out & singing along because I somehow still know all the words…I freaking loved that song back when it first came out.
And then I had this really vivid memory of hearing that song on the radio in the grocery store when I was like 8. It was in the dairy section of Safeway. That’s how clear this memory was. Weird.
So I have plety of homework I could be doing...
But the problem is, none of its due tomorrow, so I’m obviously not doing it.
Nope, I’m tired & I’m stressed & I’m watching Mulan. That is the best use of my Wednesday night.
(I haven’t seen seen this movie since elementary school & I’ll make a man out of you has been stuck in my head all week)
