This is the only way I know how to express my feelings about this sentence.
It just means so many different things to me.
For those of you who don’t know,
“Its better to burn out than to fade away" is a line from a Neil Young song, called "Hey Hey, My My (Into the Black)" which was written about Johnny Rotten of the Sex Pistols.
All of this is just a fraction of what this means to me.
Sometimes I love how thin the walls in this apartment are
Roommate’s boyfriend: Laura, do we have any ice cream.
Roommate’s boyfriend: We should go get some ice cream.
Roommate’s boyfriend: Because I want some! Vanilla Ice cream. With Fruit Loops!
Roommate: That sounds disgusting.
Roommate’s boyfriend: No its not! Its awesome!
Roommate’s boyfriend: You know what kind of ice cream they should make?
Roommate’s boyfriend: You know the milk after you’re done eating cereal? How its all colored & it tastes kinda like the cereal?
Roommate’s boyfriend: They should make that into an ice cream flavor.
Roommate: Cereal-milk ice cream? Let me guess, there will be lots of flavors depending on what the cereal is?
Roommate’s boyfriend: Yeah! Fruit loops ice cream! And Lucky Charms Ice cream! And cocoa puffs ice cream! And cheerios ice cream!
Roommate: You’re insane.
The most aggravating thing to me about this dumb Pottermore site (besides the fact that it won’t take my freaking email address; to quote Ali “Pottermore, you are drunk.”), is that I absolutely love that background image with the stone and the desk and the candles and the owl and I just want to STEAL it so badly! And it won’t let me! And I’m too much of a failure at source code to figure out why I can’t find it. But I love it. And I want it. If I can manage to get it, I’m gonna use it for everything, the way I did with the Dr. Horrible background.
Also, if you go to the video on YouTube, its unlisted. And the pottermore channel is “unavailable.” Weird.
tl;dr - If you can get that background image and send it to me, I will love you forever.
Holy fucking shit, its just so damn beautiful!
I almost started crying like halfway through it.
I’ve never cried at any of the HP movies before, nor while reading the books, but there’s no way I’m going to make it through this one without sobbing.
(Also, I’m trying to avoid posting "spoilers" for the last movie, for the sake of followers who don’t wanna see them, but I myself am not avoiding them; I wanna see that whole damn trailer gif’d, so reblog away, people I follow!)
