The figment line is usually 5 minutes, and you never have to wait more than 20 minutes for the next show of Captain EO, but because guidemaps have that lovely little fastpass symbol on it next to EO, they’re constantly asking about it.

For those of you who actually know me, I should probably say that I actually have been posting to tumblr recently, I just haven’t been doing it here.
I’m keeping a separate blog from my Disney College Program stuff, so that I can show it to people back home while still keeping this away from them…I may at some point want to show that blog to my parents, and this tumblr is not a thing I want them to be able to find.
So they told me….
That I would find out if I got into the program in the next few weeks…or possible months.

My phone interview was 4:06 pm on September 21st.
The email was sent at 9:04 am on September 23rd.
I’M GOING TO BE WORKING ATTRACTIONS IN WALT DISNEY WORLD FROM JANUARY-MAY!

I don’t even know what to do with myself. I could barely put in my contacts, I was shaking so badly from EXCITEMENT.
I called my parents. Emailed my grandparents. Told facebook….I should probably message my brother(s).
How in the hell am I supposed to concentrate on classes until December when I know I’m headed to Orlando???
DON’T PANIC.
I love that the primary advice I got from both people who responded to the DCP post was “STAY CALM.” You know me too well. I should go dins something to drink that isn’t chock full o caffeine & sugar…
Also, I saw Aaron coming out of the South Campus Diner wearing the Pizza John Shirt, and totally just pointed at him & shouted “PIZZA JOHN!” Other people probably thought I was insane. Then we ended up talking for like 20 minutes, and now I kinda really want our Official Club Name to be #UMDFTBA.
UPDATE:
I just got off of the phone interview. i think it went well? But I’m also REALLY terrible at telling those sorts of things. The woman on the interview seemed really nice and enthusiastic, and I really liked her. Her name was Claire!
I don’t think I did a terrible job of answering any of the questions, I just hope I wasn’t too rambly & long winded in some of my explanations. Y’all know how rambly I can get.
So I was going to write a post about how AWESOME the UMD Nerdfighters “First Unofficial Meeting” was…
But then I remembered that my Phone Interview with the Disney College Program is in like…less than 13 hours, and started freaking out a li’l bit.
WHAT DO I DO? WHAT DO I DO? I AM GOING TO DIE.
Any last minute advice? (Other than “Smile lots” and “DON’T DO QUICK-SERVICE.”)
