What I love about this video is that it looks really weird if you weren’t there because it’s all dark with random flashing lights & whatnot, but if you were there, it totally captures what it was actually like; all dark with random flashing lights that’re reflecting off of the freaking parachute we were all underneath.

I’m studying for my Microbiology final tomorrow, and rediscovered this gem of a diagram.
This, apparently, is how a protein is transported through the inner cell wall of a gram negative bacteria.

Or, as one of my classmated cringed “It looks like he’s passing a kidney stone”

I blame my failure on the fact that I’m supposed to be studying for a Microbiology exam.
